Hi there!

I'm a wife, mom of two, and licensed mental health counselor here in the Sunshine State. Whatever drew you here today, thank you for taking the time to tap into this little corner of the web. There's a lot out there these days- a flood of information, wanted (or unwanted?) advice, noisy opinions and a crowd of voices ready to comment on what we do or don't do. It's hard to navigate through all that sometimes, isn't it? I know it is for me.

Honestly starting this site was a step of faith in my own journey. While my college freshman self fantasized a big-city career in journalism, a few unexpected plot twists landed me here- with you. The joy of joining in the journey of someone who's invited you in just seemed incomparable to any other career choice, in my opinion, and by God's grace He led me down a path that allows me now to do what I love and love what I do. The aspiring writer is still in there though, so I'm excited to utilize this platform to delve into some pertinent topics relating to relationships, parenthood, faith, and overall mental health and wellbeing. The visuals and subgenres may change, but I hope the ultimate mission stands firm, that it's a source of light, of encouragement rooted in truth to live life to the fullest.
