SHE PROVES FAITHFUL PODCAST
These days it's tough to find the time and, quite frankly, discipline myself to sit down and read a book. So I do a lot of podcasts- listening while doing dishes, taking walks, in the car, etc. One of my favorites is Lauren Hlushak's "She Proves Faithful" podcast. She's genuine, relatable, and tackles real-life challenges through a gospel lens. Click below to learn more!

Risen Motherhood
ANOTHER GREAT POD

Laura Wifler and Emily Jensen, both writers, moms, and sisters-in-law launched a ministry that unites mamas around the globe. I am personally encouraged by their transparency, gospel-centered discussion, and deep dive into just about every topic we encounter as wives and moms.
In addition to the weekly podcast episodes, they offer free tools and resources that can be found on their website, risenmotherhood.com.

BECOMING MOM STRONG BOOK + BIBLE STUDY
My own mama sent me the book and we were later able to do the Bible Study together virtually. Heidi St. John is a boss- a bold homeschool mom of seven who is a picture of godly courage and confidence. Subscribing to her site will also grant access to scripture writing challenges (it IS a good challenge, let me tell you) and other helpful resources, not to mention encouraging and uplifting content for both the brand new or well-seasoned momma. She founded MomStrong International, which you can take a look at here. Her official website and blog is also worth checking out.

THE SEVEN PRINCIPLES FOR MAKING MARRIAGE WORK
The Gottman Institute was founded by Drs. John and Julie Gottman in 1996, built on their shared passion for scientific understanding of human interaction and relationships. Much of their research is presented practically in their bestseller, The Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work. I personally have used this book as a guide in couple's therapy, gleaned from it in my own marriage, and recommended it to many others over the past couple of years. It's worth a read and something my husband and I refer back to over and over again. Find it on Amazon through the link below!

THE ASSERTIVENESS GUIDE FOR WOMEN
This one is quickly becoming a go-to both personally and professionally. It applies to literally any woman looking to create healthy boundaries, better manage emotions and stress, learn to clearly communicate wants and needs, and better understand herself as a whole. As a licensed clinical social worker, the author is strongly rooted in attachment theory that will help you gain insight into your closest relationships. You can find the book here.
